WHO AM I?

Hi I'm Matt, owner and "The Nerdy Handyman". 

 

​I have enjoyed being a small business owner in Thousand Oaks, CA for nearly 4 years as The Nerdy Handyman! I have met some amazing people and have been able to participate in some awesome home and commercial projects! Due to ongoing work at a local nonprofit children’s museum I am reducing my service offerings to be limited to gutter cleaning and small related items!

 

I am someone who loves to tinker with things and always has multiple projects going at once. I enjoy fixing things that are broken and improving those that aren't. I have a construction background in various residential related tasks including toilet replacements, painting, caulk, grout, electrical troubleshooting, trim carpentry and much more. Professionally, I hold a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and worked in the aerospace industry for 12 years in California.

 

I thrive on working with my hands, solving problems, and interacting with people! I enjoy tackling different challenges and helping people daily!

 

​I currently live in Thousand Oaks with my wife, 3 amazing children, and 2 Standard Poodles!
